A freelance writer, video correspondent, and unabashed Francophile, L.M. Archer considers wine an art, not just a beverage – and Burgundy the Center of the Universe.
Her works appear in numerous wine and food publications, including BK Wine Magazine, Palate Press, Oregon Wine Press, France Today, Foodable TV, and The Good Life France. She is also creator and editor of binNotes | redThread™, a site devoted to inspired stories about artisan wine and taste makers, as well as the companion tasting notes series, The Hedonistic Taster.
She is also the author of the historical fiction coming-of-age novel set in World War II Occupied Burgundy, FR. entitled The Wine Mistress, for which she is currently seeking representation.
She earned her designations in Bourgogne, Master Level and French Wine Scholar through the Wine Scholars Guild, audited the International Guild of Sommeliers Wine Fundamentals, Levels 1 & 2, and hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Smith College.
While she divides her time between Northern California and Seattle, she’s always dreaming of Burgundy.
