Just a quick reminder: I’m rebranding.
If you follow this site, you’ll receive a notice about the new location at www.lmarcher.com prior to migration.
The new site also includes an updated Samples Policy, plus a new menu item for bespoke services, such as judging and curated wine tastings.
Also…due to family concerns beyond my control, I’m ‘relocating’ indefinitely from my beloved Monterey Peninsula back to the PNW.
I’ll still be traveling back and forth from the rain to sunshine, but it’s a bit of a ‘reverse commute’ right now.
Silver lining: Greater proximity to Oregon, my other ‘happy place’ stateside.
This means look for more site visits by this wine writer to the Willamette Valley, a place many consider the “Burgundy of the United States.”
Yes, Oregon. Home to some of the world’s finest premium pinot noir. But did you know it’s also a source of intoxicating chardonnays and aromatic whites, plus some of the world’s most compelling sparkling wines?
Bonus: I’ll also be covering some lesser-known, but equally compelling, Oregon wine regions like the Columbia Gorge.
In the meantime, please understand as I take a bit of a breather from 15-30 June 2018 while I focus on my rebranding, slated for completion July 2, 2018.
As always, many thanks for your unwavering support throughout all the changes.
It’s been an interesting time, one with many unexpected dips in the road, plus a few hairpin curves, but I’m looking forward to finding out what the view is around the bend with you soon!
