Lot. No. 3 joins Seattle’s burgeoning gastropub scene as the hip, younger sibling to Heavy Restaurant Group’s uber-successful, more sedate Purple Cafe wine bars.
Small plate comfort foods with-a-spin meet microbrews with-an-attitude, served by stellar staff against a super-cool banquet-and-bad-ass bar backdrop.
Happy hour between 3-6 pm daily allows meat eaters a chance to chow down on their infamous ‘pbj&b’ (peanut butter and jam with nueske’s bacon), short rib, or duck sliders, as well as plate o’bacon (slab & candied). Regular menu items include not yo’ mama’s meatloaf and almighty mac n’ cheese. binNotes© personal favorite : the cornbread. In a word: succulent.
Always good to occasionally move out of one’s comfort zone – now back to The Art of Wine…Cheers!
